Course Presentation

Training that combines technique, science, and personalized care. The course develops skills in facial and body procedures, massage, drainage, hand and foot care, as well as entrepreneurship and multisensory care. Focused on health, well-being, and market differentiation.

General Objectives

To train students to work professionally and ethically in the field of aesthetics, beauty care, and wellness, based on scientific foundations, updated techniques, and an integrative approach. The course aims to develop theoretical and practical skills that enable the evaluation, execution, and customization of facial, body, and therapeutic aesthetic procedures, promoting clients' health, self-esteem, and quality of life.

Specific Objectives

  • Understand the historical evolution of aesthetics and the concept of well-being as a biopsychosocial phenomenon, recognizing the ethical, deontological and biosafety principles that guide professional practice in the field of aesthetics.
  • Identify the structure and function of the main body systems related to aesthetics (muscular, integumentary, circulatory, lymphatic, nervous and endocrine), understanding their influence on aesthetic procedures and well-being.
  • Analyze the different types and conditions of the skin, its appendages and physiological reactions to cosmetics, selecting and applying appropriate active ingredients for personalized treatments based on advanced dermocosmetic criteria.
  • Apply manual lymphatic drainage techniques based on neurophysiological foundations, adapting classic and contemporary maneuvers to different aesthetic, therapeutic and clinical indications.
  • Perform massage techniques with an aesthetic, therapeutic, and sensory focus, integrating knowledge about the autonomic nervous system and using resources such as reflexology, hot stones, and aromatherapy according to the client's emotional profile.
  • Perform empathetic and technical body assessment, identifying aesthetic dysfunctions such as cellulite, localized fat and sagging, to develop and apply personalized protocols based on functional and psycho-corporal objectives.
  • Perform an integrative facial anamnesis and apply skin cleansing procedures, functional massage and natural harmonization, adapting techniques and active ingredients to the specific needs of sensitive, mature, acne-prone and reactive skin.
  • Use the main electroaesthetic equipment (radiofrequency, ultrasound, LED, laser) safely and effectively, understanding their physiological fundamentals, indications, contraindications and maintenance care.
  • Perform eyebrow waxing and design procedures considering the biological aspects of hair, phototypes, soothing active ingredients, and visagism principles for safe and aesthetically harmonious results.
  • Provide therapeutic and preventative aesthetic care for the extremities, applying safe manicure, pedicure, and sensory spa techniques, with special attention to vulnerable groups such as the elderly, diabetics, and pregnant women.
  • Develop humanized service skills through active listening, nonverbal language, and the creation of a sensory environment, promoting customer loyalty with ethics, empathy, and personalized service.
  • Plan and structure a beauty business with its own identity, using branding, digital marketing, pricing, and schedule management tools, considering different professional models in the beauty sector.
